OUR CHURCH FAMILY

We see church as being like a family – a welcoming and diverse family. The more time you spend with us the more you will realise that we are all ‘different’ and that we all ‘belong’.

We think it’s really important to be well connected with other Christians and other churches. We are a part of Salt & Light ADVANCE, a family of 20 churches in Wales, Worcestershire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire. We are also a part of an international family of churches. Salt and Light Ministries International.

We find that there is real strength in churches being together so our leaders meet regularly to pray, we gather together as churches for CELEBRATION meetings and we support one another financially and in ministry.

We also have connections with the other churches in the town. Our leaders meet up to pray together. There are also some joint events that we involved in across the year

OUR TEAM OF LEADERS

We believe that each person in our church family shapes who we are together. We are committed to discipleship and body ministry. That means that we always love to hear from one another. There’s a passage in the bible that says:

When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up. (1 Corinthians 14:26 ESV)

Our leaders help to create this atmosphere of inclusion and set direction for our church.
